Barbecue, catfish and wild game. Loved the menu, the food was very good, and the portions were huge! To top off the meal, there's an ice cream and coffee shop right inside. I'll definitely be back.

We were in Nashville but wanted a restaurant that was away from the hubbub of downtown. So we were glad to find this restaurant. It's very large -- an there's even a little pond inside. Our server checked on us quite a few times after we ordered, and it took a while for our food to come. Once it did, however, she wasn't really around. The two of us who ordered the ribs were quite happy with our meals, but two more in our group weren't impressed.

Came here on a Friday night not too busy, we wanted to stay out of downtown nashvillle with the crowds since we had 10 people decided to try something close to the place we were staying. This place was huge but not packed had live music playing for us that went from room to room. You can tell the locals love to come here so happy we found it. The staff was so friendly and super helpful and honest, told us exactly what not to get and what to get lol. Everything we ate was good and had no issues they even gave us some donut holes for free they were sooooo good. Glad we tried this place it was decently priced as well.

I did not expect the cross between Bass Pro Shops and Shoney's to be one of the best experiences on Music Valley Drive I've ever had. A little backstory, I live five minutes from Opryland so as a youth I worked almost every establishment up Music Valley Drive. Caney Fork River Valley Grille is fairly new and right on the corner of Music Valley Drive and McGavock, you cannot miss it. We went on a weekday pre-dinner rush so they were not very busy. I like that because it means I can get plenty of pics without worrying about spooking other patrons. Thank goodness because there is a lot to see and enjoy here. There are stuffed animals all over the place, I guarantee if you visited multiple times you would see new ones each time. Aside from the cool interior, the food and service is also amazing. Everything came out fast and correct while tasting perfect. We were not expecting the complimentary corn fritters but they were very much welcome and delicious. By far the best thing we had was the chopped steak with gravy, honestly the best chopped steak I have ever had. To the point that I have wanted to go back every since just for that. It was tender, flavorful and cooked to perfection. We also had the hamburger and while it was also very good, the chopped steak was the star of the show.

Place was super close to the Gaylord Opryland Resort and BBQs are a must when in Nashville so i did. This place was true to their logo --- food is good and it is! I left it to the bartender/server to give me their best sellers. I had the rib/fried catfish combo with fried okra and mashed potatoes .... everything was soooo good!!!! my favorite is the rib, it is fall-off-the bone tenderness and the flavor is on point. the fried catfish is flavorful too as well as the sides. lots if beer choices but i was tired from the red eye so i just had sparkling water with my meal. place is clean, love the decors! everybody is attentive.

My family came here while on vacation and we were very impressed with the experience. We were cheerfully greeted when we walked in, seated quickly and our server arrived quickly. As seen by the photos I got a steak, baked potato and corn and it was all delicious and cooked perfectly. Our server also brought us some corn fritters made out of funnel cake batter and they were amazing. My Wife got a sampler entree so she could try a little bit of everything and share some with our kid and she was highly impressed also. Absolutely a great restaurant and a great addition to our vacation restaurant list.
